Encapsulate Corrosion with Astec B-16
Encapsulate Corrosion:
Apply Astec B -16-71 Rust Control specially formulated to neutralize and halt further metal roof erosion.
Seal Seams with Astec Waterproof Sealer
Seal Seams & Fasteners:
Caulk open seams, Reinforce all seams, flashings, and penetrations with high tensile strength fabric. Saturate with Astec WPM #9 Waterproof Sealer
Seal Roof with Astec Waterproof Sealer
Seal Roof:
Flow on Astec WPM #9 Waterproof Sealer over all areas of roof caulking, reinforcing fabric, and fasteners to create a watertight base for the final seamless Astec layers.
Apply Core Roofing Layer of Astec Ceramic Finish
Apply Core Layer:
Flow on the first layer of Astec #900 Ceramic Finish for Metal Roofs. It provides a tough, weathertight, monolithic core layer, bonded over every square inch of the roof surface.
Apply Final Layer of Astec Ceramic Finish

Apply Final Layer:
Flow on a second layer of Astec #900 Ceramic Finish for Metal. This final application will create a seamless, titanium-white surface of highly reflective, ceramic-embedded roofing that remains waterproof, pliable, and virtually impervious to airborne corrosives over years of hostile environmental conditions.

Astec Rust Control B16 ASTEC Rust Control is specially formulated to neutralize and halt further rust corrosion on all metal surfaces. It prepares and sets the surface to bond with Astec Cool roof sealers and surface membranes. Astec Reinforcing Poly ClothASTEC Reinforcing Poly Cloth is a high tensile strength polyester fabric used over joints, seams, and repairs in failing roof substrates. Once embedded in Astec Reply System roofing membranes, Astec Reinforcing Poly cloth helps stabilize the restored metal roof into a single, seamless surface that is virtually impervious to tears, splits or damage from the elements. Astec waterproof sealer ASTEC Waterproof Sealer WPM #9 is a fluid applied membrane which encases all roof seams, fasteners, joints, flashings, intrusions, and substrate repairs inside a tough, pliable, seamless surface. The renewed surface is now wind and water tight, and ready to be bonded with Astec ceramic finish layers for the ultimate in durable protection from UV sunlight, heat, and airborne corrosives.
Astec Butyl Back TapeASTEC BBT Butyl-Back Tape is highly adhesive and bonds especially well with Astec Re-Ply Roofing finish layers. Once Embedded, Astec BBT Tape's high tensile strength contributes to the stability of all restored roofing areas. Astec Ceramic Finish 900 ASTEC Ceramic Finish #900 provides the astec Re-ply system with its durability as well as all its cool roof advantages. It is deliberately applied in multiple layers to assure a well bonded seamless roof surface over Astec's watertight base. The sustainability of Astec #900 surfaces permits the ICC watertight renewable Warranty to be updated every ten years. Astec Re-Ply Surface ConditionerASTEC Surface Conditioner #4000 is a concentrated aqueous acrylic emulsion sealer formulated to "lock down" chalky or efflorescence residue remaining after pressure washing. It is only required with certain aluminum substrates or special metal finishes.
